The Railway Hotel was originally built in the late 1800s and is now an integral part of the historic town of Burnham-on-Crouch. The hotel has been lovingly restored by its owners Jenny and Colin Newcombe. It incorporates Victorian charm with twenty-first century luxuries such as an Art Nouveau style lounge and modern restaurant. The Hotel offers 11 recently refurbished, purpose built bedrooms. Current room tariffs per night are:

- Wedding Room £90
All rooms are ensuite, have a direct dial telephone and internet access. They are also equipped with a TV, radio, trouser press and tea making facilities. For guests utilising the Wedding Suite champagne and breakfast are provided, inclusive of the room rate. For all other guests we serve a Full English Breakfast between 7.30 and 9.30 Monday to Friday and 8.00 and 10.00 Saturday and Sunday at a cost of £7.50.
At the public bar you can enjoy a good range of beers, wines and spirits along with JC's freshly ground coffee, tea and a selection of snacks and sandwiches.
In the adjoining JC's Restaurant you can choose from a full a la carte menu, traditional Sunday Roast or a selection of dishes to share. JC's is non-smoking and offers a relaxed atmosphere with good food and wine. Advanced booking may be necessary. Hotel guests who arrive late in the evening can also be catered for.
